Dates and Location Confirmed For Russia & CIS Hotel Investment Conference 2009 (RHIC)
Questex Media And Bench Events To Host The 5th Annual Event On 26-27th October 2009 In St. Petersburg
The Russia & CIS Hotel Investment Conference 2009 will be held on 26-27th October at the Musical & Comedy Theatre which is located near the host hotel, the Grand Hotel Europe. The venue has a purpose built stage and all the facilities to host an international conference. The nearby Grand Hotel Europe is part of the Orient-Express Hotels and is located on Nevsky Prospekt, St. Petersburg's main avenue, close to the Russian Museum and Mussorgsky Theatre. It has over 300 rooms and suites and five restaurants.
"As one of the ten most visited tourist centers in Europe, St. Petersburg offers us a very fitting location for the next Russia & CIS Hotel Investment Conference," said Kerry Gumas, CEO & President of Questex Media Group. "Each year St. Petersburg hosts more than four million Russian and foreign tourists, and due to the rising demand for hotel accommodation in recent years, the city encourages and supports hotel development."
Conference co-host Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of Bench Events adds: "We are very excited about this years location and the prospect of bringing together industry stakeholders to meet new investment partners at the Russia & CIS Hotel Investment Conference. St. Petersburg has opened its doors to tourism and hotel investment and after the success of hosting the 2008 conference in Moscow, it seemed a natural development to move the conference to St. Petersburg for 2009."
