Cuneyt Baltaoglu has been working in Russian real estate investments industry since 1994. He has been actively involved in all aspects of hotel and office development projects in Moscow as well as important regional cities.

Having 10 up and running hotel properties operated by Accor in Turkey, Akfen REIT, the publicly traded real estate investment company of Akfen Holding, the premier infrastructure investment holding of Turkey, has been active in Russian hotel investments since 2008.

The company just opened a hotel in Yaroslavl, and have the following scheduled openings: Samara (November 2011), Kaliningrad (March 2013), Moscow (January 2014).  All hotels are to be operated by Accor under IBIS brand.
