Kenneth McLaren

Executive Vice President

Born Greenock, Scotland 1959, Graduating in Hotel Management and Post Graduate Human Resources & Industrial Relations.

Ken’s career in hotels started with Trust House Forte UK as a Graduate Trainee, moving to various management positions. He joined Hilton International in 1986 and subsequently held positions in UK, Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Joined Interstate in 2003, to run the Marriott Grand Hotel Moscow and was promoted to Executive Vice President in December 2006. In this position he is responsible for Interstate’s 6 hotels in Moscow, also the new Monarch Renaissance Moscow, opened 2010. Ken is also responsible for Interstate’s interests in Europe, based from the Moscow office.

Ken is married, with two daughters and enjoys sports and travel.
