Michael has more than 25 years experience of the international hotel sector and has specialised in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS since 1989 and is considered to be the leading expert in this region. Michael joined Horwath Consulting in May 2002 and is a principal shareholder and Managing Director of Horwath HTL Hungary and Russia and is responsible for all assignments in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. During the last few years, Michael has been involved in hotel projects in over 40 different cities in Russia and CIS and has been successful in attracting international interest in the realisation of single asset and portfolio hotel projects. Horwath HTL Russia is considered to be market leaders in hospitality consulting in Russia. Michael is also European representative for Horwath HTL on its worldwide committee.
